No John Travolta didn’t get a new zef makeover it’s just his new look for a movie.

The Saturday Night Fever actor is currently filming Moose in Alabama.

Directed and written by Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst it centres on an obsessed movie fan Moose (Travolta) who stalks his favourite action star Hunter Dunbar (Devon Sawa).

In the set pictures released Travolta is sporting a zef look with a grey mullet.

The originators of zef, Die Antwoord raved about ‘his new look’ on Instagram.

Alongside photos of Travolta in character they wrote: “ok fuck random but… JOHN TRAVOLTA’S new style iz zef az FUK!!! i fkkn L??VE it!!!!! Jississss”

In an interview with ET Canada Travolta said that this role is unlike anything he has done in his career.

“This movie and this performance [are] like nothing I have seen before and I just haven’t read a script this interesting in years,” said Travolta.
