The mystery behind the missing and disappearance of the patients’ valuable items including foods at night at the Isolo General Hospital has been finally unraveled by the Police.

Source reports that this followed the arrest of a 25-year old man, Fisayo Adebayo, who was reportedly caught after he sneaked into Isolo General Hospital to steal valuable items from sick patients.

He was said to have pretended to be a patient and sneaked into one of the hospital wards at about 3am to steal from the sick patients. Unknown to the suspect, Adebayo, the hospital management had upgraded the security of the hospital and he attempted to gain access to the wards to steal.

However, eagle eyed hospital security guards apprehended him for interrogation and he confessed that he was not a patient at the General Hospital but did not disclosed his motive for sneaking into the ward at that odd hour.
He was later handed over to the Police at Isolo Division for further investigation and was found culpable of stealing at the hospital.

Adebayo was later charged before the Isolo Magistrates Court for the alleged offence and he pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Oje Uagbale, asked the Court to give a date for hearing to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the offence.

Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.A Teluwo, granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety in like sum.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail conditions. The matter was adjourned till 16th October, 2019.
